Strength & lower-limb rehab
Getting out of pain is one thing. Staying out of it is another.
Muscles and tendons get stronger by being asked to do a little more, gradually and in the right way. A structured strength and rehab program builds the capacity of the tissues that support your feet and legs — so the problem that brought you in is less likely to keep coming back.
Why strength matters
A lot of recurring foot and lower-limb problems aren’t just about the sore spot — they’re about how much load the surrounding muscles and tendons can comfortably handle. Rest can settle things down, but on its own it doesn’t rebuild that capacity. A progressive program does, at a pace your body can keep up with.
It’s worth booking in if the same problem keeps returning, you’re building back after an injury, or you’re trying to return to running, sport or work on your feet and want it to hold this time.
How we can help
- Work out which muscles and tendons are under-loaded or overloaded for what you’re asking of them
- A progressive program matched to your goals and your current starting point
- Exercises that fit into a normal week — most need little or no equipment
- Regular review, so the program is adjusted as you progress rather than left to guesswork
- Coordinated with any hands-on treatment, orthotics or footwear changes you’re using
Funding: Private Health, SIRA, Medicare CDM/EPC and DVA are all accommodated. As a Bupa Members First and HCF More for Feet provider, eligible members may see a higher rebate, claimed same-visit.
